Hey, welcome to my Substack! In my work as a Reiki master, I encounter so many people who have a brilliant story or message to share with the world.

To me, creativity and spirituality are so interlinked that as people tap into their spiritual practice, they start getting a flood of creative ideas. That's definitely what happened for me!

I created this space so that you can explore your creative ideas and goals and get a gentle and nurturing environment so that you can just start. Once you’ve started, you’ll get support to keep on making and sharing your creative work.

Sometimes people get stuck or hesitant to begin a creative project because of all of the inner critic messages they've been exposed to, either internally or externally.

Sacred Space to Create Your Best Work

A big part of my work in Reiki is getting people and their energy clear so they can sparkle and shine and bring the best of themselves to the world.

And that's what I want to create for you here. I want to make sure that you can bring the work you need to share to the world. And my approach is to use spiritual tools like meditation, reflection, and journaling prompts to unblock the energy behind your story.

Here, you'll get your story and creative ideas flowing. Together we'll make a sacred space to really honor the work. I believe your ideas are unique expressions that belong to themselves.

Your Creative Work Belongs to the World

Sometimes we have a story that's so huge. Even though it might be a very personal story, it has an energy to it that doesn't want to be contained within the pages of your own personal diaries and journals.

There's a healing aspect to the story that wants to move through you that belongs to a much wider, bigger audience. I believe this is because you are story has the power to heal. Your work can inspire others to create their own unique expression in the world.

I believe that we're here to be creative. We're here to share our ideas and work and leave a mark in the world. Even if it's just within our own families, they're such an important aspect of sharing and preserving your story, your ideas, and your creativity. It matters!

A Spiritual and Energetic Approach

This creative place is built on the principles and ideas of Reiki and this persistent idea that all creativity flows from Source, which is the ultimate creator. While we're all spiritual here, we're open to all faiths, spiritual explorers, psychonauts, and also people with no faith at all.

We will be talking about a loving universal consciousness that is interconnected with all things, and that loves us all inclusively and equally. So if that's your jam, welcome!

This space helps you stay motivated and stick with your creative ideas. It's designed for flow and overcoming creative obstacles and the inner critic that is frightened of your magnificence

And magnificent you are! You have so much to share with the world. Your story is unique and meaningful, and it needs to be here with us, in people's hands. However, you express your creativity. The energy of what you share is the meaning of your art, and that meaning resonates and creates positive changes in the lives of others.

How this space helps your Work

This space helps you explore your relationship with the stories and ideas that want to be created through you. These creations are unique and truly exist in their own right. Because your story exists on its own, you can interact with it in a way that it's light, loving, and freeing.

The energy of what you wish to express can be transmitted in many ways, and this space will help you explore what mode of expression best honours the story you have.

I'll help you tap into the energy of your creation. Connect with it and form a dialogue with that unique expression.

You'll have space to explore whether your story wants to be a memoir, a piece of non-fiction, a fictional story or a series of short stories. Maybe it’s a poem, a song, an opera, maybe a brand new medium of creativity, maybe it’s all of the above!

I'll support you and cheer you on as you share your work with the people who need it most. I specialize in helping people overcome the nerves that go along with living a creative and joyful life, and I use Reiki and meditation as primary tools to help unblock any flow of energy. This works amazingly well in a creative space.

Every week I'll post Creativity Warm-ups that have a short meditation, a few minutes of writing, and a little inspiration for your week ahead. This creative warm-up will help you get started on your creative project.

Settle some of the nerves that might be happening for a big creative work and get you going and flowing. The warmups are designed to help you tap into the energy behind the work you're doing. The creative warm-ups are available for everyone at every subscriber level.

For Paid Subscribers:

I host online Creative Retreat Workshops following the cycle of the year. We’ll follow through the cycle of creativity and how you can leverage the natural creative cycle that happens in nature to activate energy within your creative work.

This approach to creativity honours all stages of a project, from a seed idea to sifting and sorting through which ideas to pursue, to putting the final touches on a piece and sharing.

The Creative Retreat Workshops will explore how to get started on creative work that’s just beginning, then create momentum and fuel when you're in the middle of a work, and most importantly, we’ll help you with that final stretch where you are putting in the final miles on the piece, and you're so close to the deadline and finish line.

These Creative Retreat Workshops will be recorded and posted on Substack for paid subscribers. You also get access to all of the archive material and also any of my thoughts, ruminations, and random tidbits of helpful info.

I'll share part of my creative process and how I've been able to make, create, and share so many different things with the world. As creativity is an ever-unfolding, never-completely finished process, I'm always in a state of learning and growth, so I will share anything I learn as I go along.

You'll also get some sneak previews of some of my upcoming works and the various stages that they are in, and I'll share all of my tools that help me to get through the stuck places, get the energy moving, and get the work out into the world.

The session is to help you get clarity on your creative goals, get some feedback and support, and get to the work.

Extra Supports to Consider

As you go through the creative process and really honour the telling of your special story, you might find that at times some trauma might come up or some big emotions, especially if it's a very heartfelt or tender story that you are working with.

Make sure you are connected to a therapist or counsellor in your area who can give you extra support if you need it.

If my schedule is busy, I highly recommend booking in with any of my staff because I personally trained them and I work with them myself, and I'm super fussy about who I let work with me!

Mostly, I want to see your Creative Work!

I'm very interested in your story, and I want to read what you've written.

I want to see what you're making.

I want to see that the work that needs to be created through you gets created.

If you have a painting you need to paint, or a song you need to sing, or any other form of creative expression… I want to hear it!

I want to experience the world through your lens. Everybody has a very unique way of seeing the world and understanding and relating to the things that have happened in their lives.

I know how cathartic it can be and how incredibly healing it is to rumble with your story a bit to get it into the world and onto the page or whatever medium you’re expressing through.

It's so very important that you do that tender, vulnerable work to get the story into a fuller expression. Not only does it serve the story and gives you insight into your own journey, but it becomes part of your legacy.

Imagine what your great-grandchildren, descendants, and future generations might think if they were able to understand your world a little bit more. You’d leave them an amazing gift! And for the people who love you, you leave a legacy behind. That is so very precious and insightful.

And sometimes, what we're sharing are stories about the people who have touched our hearts along the way. And maybe they're not here anymore or not present in your life. Those stories are important to share because they honour the spark of beauty that person has brought to your world.

Your story helps me understand the glimmer of hope and beauty that happens as we're living this wild, wonderful, beautiful life.
